The Challange of Leadership from Corporate Impact
The Challenge of Leadership provides essential leadership skills for today’s highly competitive business environment. The session focuses on key elements of leadership and the leader’s role in enabling followers. We believe an organization’s success is dependent on the goals and values of the people who make up the organization. This seminar helps clarify and develop both our individual and our organizational goals and values – what we want and how we will get it. Participants are encouraged to recognize and use their unique strengths to advance the organization’s goals.
Workshop Content
During The Challenge of Leadership, participants explore and develop their abilities in eight factors essential to individual and organizational leadership.
VISION: Covers eight principles and five behaviors essential to leadership.
VALUES: A strong value base is the core of leadership. Our “Personal Values Profile” allows participants to better understand their core values.
PROCESS: Leaders are driven to achieve their missions. Our “Admiral’s Inn” business simulation explores the how of leadership.
TEAM BUILDING: Challenging goals require teamwork. We use our “Tomahawk” exercise in intergroup dynamics to better understand how th build and motivate your team
VALUE THE DIFFERENCES: Every member of the team contributes in a different way. We use the MBTI to help people understand and value each team member's contribution.
THE LEADER AS COACH: This module explores the tools and leadership styles used to coach and develop subordinates.
CHARACTER AND COMMITMENT: Our “Commitment Setting” activity provides each participant a personal why and challenges each to establish measurable objectives and commitments for action after the workshop.
BELIEF: Continuing success is driven by belief in oneself and the organization.
