CREATIVE AWARENESS:  Processes to identify and define applied creative opportunities.  Participants learn to challenge traditional ideas and approaches to problems, to be a change agent - zealously seeking opportunities to improve the organization’s competitive position, and finding better ways to meet organizational goals.

CREATIVE THINKING:  Seventeen (17) ways to generate ideas.  Removing the mental blocks to new ideas, participants learn how to break out of traditional modes of thinking and examine issues from new perspectives in order to gain new insights.

DEVELOPING INNOVATIONS:  A rational process for developing proposals that capitalize on innovative opportunities and refines those proposals to decisive, results-oriented, actions.  Participants learn to use seven (7) distinctly different ways of thinking through the process of developing an innovative opportunity.
ADVANCING IDEAS: The role of the “Champion.”  Participants learn how to build support and obtain resources that get innovative ideas accepted and implemented by the organization.  Champions gain an understanding of the institutional barriers to creativity and how to overcome them.
RISK MANAGEMENT:  No new idea is without risk.  Successful innovation requires the ability to assess and manage the risks associated with the implementation of new ideas.  In order to pioneer and support risk taking, one must be prepared to manage the risks.
