We provide an individualized process tailored to the needs of the executive and the organization
Executive Coaching
Focus
Corporate Impact executive coaching provides an individualized process tailored to the needs of the executive and the organization. As a guide, the following elements are common to most of our coaching activities:
Coaching Process Initiation
In our initial meetings, Corporate Impact will:
¨ Determine the issues driving executive coaching
¨ Establish commitment and expectations of the client’s manager
¨ Establish commitment and expectations and involvement of human resources
¨ Begin the relationship with the coaching client
¨ Set preliminary goals with the coaching client
Data Collection and Feedback
Essential to the success of coaching, is an understanding of how the client is perceived. We conduct a customized, 360-degree interview and assessment process to gather confidential and specific feedback from up to 12 people (manager, subordinates, peers, customers, etc.).
A Confidential Feedback Report is provided, with recommendations for skills, behaviors and key actions critical to success on the job. The report includes aggregate data by interviewee category (employee, customer, peer, etc.) and does not identify specific people. Working with the client, this report and recommendations are used to develop action plans.
Our approach is collaborative. We don’t do things to executives, we do things with them.
Coaching Sessions
Corporate Impact provides ongoing coaching for at least 6 months, ensuring that new behaviors and skills have an opportunity to develop. Phone conferences and email communication are included for the duration of the coaching process.
¨ A minimum of 6, two-hour coaching sessions to implement the executive
development plan are required.
¨ Includes telephone calls and email communications with coaching client,
client’s manager and human resources, as needed.
¨ Includes a teambuilding process or other interventions, if required.
Data Collection and Feedback
During the coaching process, Corporate Impact will recontact each of the interviewees for their comments and ideas about the client’s progress. The feedback collected is aggregated and reported back to the coaching client and his/her manager in a manner that maintains the confidentiality of the source. This provides additional ideas for development and assessment of progress toward coaching goals.
The rewards of coaching a successful executive are enormous.
Building people, process, and performance!
