They develop a clear understanding of the competitive advantage that coaching provides, not only to the organization, but also to individuals in realizing their potential.
What is Coaching?
Coaching is the process by which we develop people, create a climate for performance, and promote the desired culture of the organization.  The goal of coaching is to work with another person (the client) to build increased competence in four primary areas:
1. Long Term Excellent Performance: This builds capability in the client to meet high objective standards for both current and future roles.

2. Self-Correction:
Well-coached clients learn to know when they are performing well and when they are not.  They learn to make necessary adjustments, independent of the coach.  They learn to manage their own career and life development.

3. Self-Generation:
Regardless of one’s level of performance, one can always improve.  Well-coached people recognize this and seek out ways to continuously themselves and those around them.

4. Life Balance:
Life is larger than the workplace and the nonworking aspects of our lives impact behavior and performance in the workplace.  Coaching helps people establish balance in their overall life - work, home, mental fitness, physical fitness, social life, and core values.
