One way to help insure early team successes is to be sure every team has a successful launch that gets the team up and working quickly. Corporate Impact consultants facilitate the team launch process and the team launch session. We provide coaching to your sponsors and team leaders, helping them fulfill the critical roles they play.
AGENDA: for this meeting will include the following:
§ Sponsor overviews the mission, how the mission relates to
the strategic drivers of the business, and what is expected
of the team.
§ Team members take time to dissect the mission and
internalize it. As a team, rewrite the mission as they see fit
for sponsor review and approval.
§ Team defines the goals that must be accomplished to fulfill
the mission, complete with preliminary timelines and
metrics.
§ Team members post their roles and solicit feedback and
role clarification from team members and the team
sponsor.
§ Team members accept initial assignments to move goals
toward completion.
§ Sponsor reviews and approves the team’s mission, goals,
timelines, metrics, and roles.

1. Establish a clear understanding of the team’s mission.
2. Define team goals.
3. Clarify each team member’s roles.
4. Overview the processes the team will use to do its work.
5. Exchange expectations among team members.

Pre Launch Activity
We prepare the sponsor or team leader to meet with each team member one-on-one before the launch session. In this meeting the sponsor or team leader will:
§ Explain why the team member was selected.
§ Describe the role the team member is expected to fulfill on
the team.
§ Solicit and respond to any questions the team member has.
§ Determine what the team member needs from the sponsor.
